First, confirm the outage is really local: run the site through our website down checker. If our server reaches it fine but you can't, the problem is on your side. Work through these nine fixes in order — they resolve the vast majority of "down for me only" cases.

1. Switch networks

Move from Wi-Fi to mobile data (or vice versa). If the site loads on the other network, your original connection or its DNS is the problem.

2. Disable your VPN or proxy

VPN exit nodes are frequently blocked by anti-bot systems. Disconnect and retry.

3. Pause ad-blockers and security extensions

Aggressive blockers can break scripts or domains a site depends on. Test in a private/incognito window with extensions disabled.

4. Flush your DNS cache

Follow our DNS flush guide for your device, then retry.

5. Change your DNS server

Your ISP's DNS may be stale or filtering the domain. Switch to 1.1.1.1 (Cloudflare) or 8.8.8.8 (Google) in your network settings.

6. Clear browser cache and cookies for the site

A corrupted cached file or a bad session cookie can break one site while everything else works.

7. Try a different browser

If Chrome fails but Firefox works, the issue is browser-specific — profile corruption or an extension.

8. Check your hosts file

Malware or old blocking tools sometimes add entries to C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts (Windows) or /etc/hosts (macOS) that black-hole specific domains.

9. Restart router and device

It clears router-level DNS caches and renegotiates your connection — surprisingly effective.

Still blocked?

Run the domain through our DNS tool and SSL checker to rule out record or certificate problems, and check the live directory for widespread outages.
